Cape Cod Doxie Day is a fun-filled community event celebrating everything dachshund that is held each fall in Barnstable Village. Activities include a pet parade, and other events for people and pets to participate in. Cape Cod Doxie Day is a registered 501(c)3 corporation.

Coast Guard Heritage Museum

The Coast Guard Heritage Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

Our mission is to educate visitors on the legacy of the U.S. Coast Guard and its 18th Century predecessors who have protected our shores and harbors and rescued thousands of stranded seamen who might otherwise have perished in the dangerous waters of New England and salvaged cargoes worth millions of dollars. These Customs Officers registered foreign trade vessels and enrolled vessels in the coastal trade and fisheries. The Coast Guard has been under many Departments but their mission is the same with many additional duties added on over the years.

Harden Studios

I’m an artist/photographer/designer with a working studio in Barnstable Village, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I have over 25 years of full-time art and design experience, ranging from etching, drawing, and painting to woodcarving and commercial and fine art photography. I also specialize in architectural models. My art studies include Providence College, Massachusetts College of Art, and the Museum School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. I also interned with award-winning etcher Carol Travers Lummus. Both of my parents received art degrees from Parson’s School of Design in NYC. I’m an artist member of the Provincetown Art Association.
